The Critical Opportunity of Diversity and Inclusion
Diversity is at the core of our purpose at Recommnded. The time came, long ago, for employers to take seriously, the positive impact of a diverse workforce. Not only because it's the right thing to do, but because the data is right in front of all of us that a more diverse and inclusive workplace actually achieves greater success in driving revenue than less-diverse commercial organizations.
The push to hire people from a broader cultural background started gaining more speed in the middle of the 2000's. Ten years later companies like Google installed mechanisms to ensure their recruitment workforce were neither biased nor negligent when evaluating talent from non-white heritage. Too bad all that meant was a reevaluation of a rejected resume for further consideration.
Recommnded is the very first truly merit-based platform to advocate for talent. Videos of job seekers themselves are not as important as videos of the job seeker's Advocates. If there are any videos of job seekers, they are only to introduce the Advocacy videos.
